Over the past 15 years the view of sailing has moved from one of a sport only for the social elite, to a sport accessible to all. With iconic heroes such as Dame Ellen Macarthur and Ben Ainslie bringing sailing to the masses,  transforming it into a sport in which Britain excels, enjoyed both by competitors and the public alike, the sport has come a long way from its elitist roots.

Sailing is now a hugely credible platform for companies to gain return from their Marketing Budgets, with companies such as ishares , JPMorgan, Artemis, Hugo Boss, BT and B&Q, all investing in British Sailing Campaigns. The reason is immediately apparent when watching iconic events such as the Volvo Extreme 40ishares Cup or Vendee Globe.  With the vibrantly branded machines racing at extreme speeds in brutal conditions, emanating exciting images of man and boat battling the forces of nature.

Ben is looking to secure funding for a unique campaign to compete in the Mini Transat Race, widely regarded as the most extreme single handed transatlantic race.
